Generally, the hot stamping foil is applied in the packaging industry. But if it works with Alizarin Clear Hot Stamping Flex, it will be a great way to add a unique metallic/holographic/rainbow look to any design on fabrics.
What You Need?
A cutting plotter;
Some pieces of hot stamping foil;
Alizarin Clear Hot Stamping Flex.
How to Apply?
Today I am using Cricut Explore 3 with mini-iron to show you.
1. Cut any mirror design with Alizarin Clear Hot Stamping Flex by Cricut Explore 3. Adjust the button to “Light Cardstock”;
2. Weed away the extra materials from the flex;
3. Iron-on the design onto fabrics about 10 seconds (temperature about 170℃) for each design;
4. After it’s cool, peel off the backing of flex;
5. Put the hot stamping foil (no weeding) on the flex and then iron-on same temperature and time as above;
6. Finally peel off the foil until it’s cool. Finished!
Is it amazing? The hot stamping foil is just like no-weeding heat transfer vinyl. If you are a fabrics processing factory, you could consider heat pressing this no weeding hot stamping foil with Alizarin Hot Stamping Flex, which could help you save much cost. If you are on-line seller, it’s also a good idea for DIY project with small sheets mixed colors.
